As with previous games in the series, the party battles enemies known as Shadows using physical manifestations of their psyche known as their Personas. They explore the Metaverse, a supernatural realm born from humanity's subconscious desires, to steal malevolent intent from the hearts of adults. Over the course of a school year, he and other students awaken to a special power, becoming a group of secret vigilantes known as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Plus, forcibly changing someone's heart isn't right even if the person is a piece of shit. In the end, the more they continue on this path, the more people will stop believing in the justice system. Sae: So what you're saying is that they're just? Phantom Thieves however, do not have an endgame that I can determine other than the fact they seem to only target terrible people. Y/N: Well most shadow groups or whatever have a goal. Y/N: Well, generally speaking, I think they have good intentions but the real question is there endgame. And while I have a few ideas, I also feel like that maybe I need an outsider perspective away from the authorities. Sae: Tell me, Y/N, what is your take on the Phantom Thieves? The way she carries herself and her sense of justice are all things I admire but, I feel I'm way out of her league plus she doesn't seem interested in any kind of relationship. To be honest, I've always had a crush on Sae-san. I was quite suprised it even happened but I think that was just because we always seemed to run into each other. I met Sae when she was still in college and we became friends there. Of course, this sushi restaurant is a conveyer belt one.
